I’ve written in all kinds of locations over the years - basements, bedrooms, kitchen tables - trains, planes, boats and park benches - but nothing beats my peaceful bottom-of-the-garden cabin, built for me in this past year by @carpentercolin_ 🥰 Charlie and Len like it too (as do the occasional visiting spider and snail 😁) You’ll usually find me down here at my makeshift standing desk, sans makeup and wearing mismatched clothing (as pic demonstrates!) or, if my word count is winning by late afternoon, at my sewing machine for a bit of creative change. All I need now is a fridge and an ensuite and I could be set to move in permanently … 😄
